Intermediate sanding of wood paint coats

When painting wooden surfaces such as cabinet doors, dining tables or similar, a smooth finish is required for the final coat of paint. It is therefore essential that each coat of paint is flawless.

Despite the greatest care, there is always a risk that particles such as air bubbles or dust will adhere to the wet paint on the surface. The solution is to sand the surface between the primer and paint layers. With our solution, intermediate sanding can be quick, easy and dust-free.

Once each coat has dried, sand the entire surface with an orbital electric sander. For optimal results, we advise using our abrasive paper purple, orange dry abrasive, or abrasive paper yellow.

To prevent overly aggressive materials and the risk of sanding the paint layer, we recommend using a medium-grit abrasive (240-400).
